Although daddy's night was not the best, it has been better today. They said he could have a turkey sandwich from Schlotzky's so I went and got him one. His white blood count is down and they took the drainage tube out. He ate a good lunch - it was the first food except hospital food he had been allowed to eat and could eat in over a week! Daddy and I are fixing to watch the Ga Fla game. The dr. said it will be the first of the week before they even think about letting him go home. Thanks again to everyone for the thoughts, prayers and concern. Racing friends/familying are great! I am reading all the well wishes to him!

shouldnt have let him watch stuff that bad on t.v...But glad he's feeling a little better.

He survived watching the game but it wasn't easy. b11d - i got to be in charge today and sent mama home for some rest and to get things ready for him to come home! Even though daddy is sick and don't feel good, I have to say I have enjoyed our daddy-daughter time together today and I am spending the night with him too. I just wish next time we can spend bonding time at a race track or the beach. He is getting his last round of antibotics in the iv and then hopefully he can get comfortable and get some rest tonight. His white blood count is finally coming down and that is an answered prayer! Jenn - they said possibly Monday but not sure yet. Thanks again everyone.

well ill have to say if nannies not in charge im glad you are .. cause if ROBIN /KENNY was/ they may put to much stagger or forward bite in that hosp.bed /HECK.. POPS MAY NEVER GET OFF THE CORNER OF REC. If everything goes ok tonight (Monday), he should get to come home on Tuesday! He has some gout in his left knee and they are treating that now. He hasn't ever had that before so that is new to us too. He called me on the phone to tell me and that made my night when he called me. The dr. came in late and gave him the good news. Still got some recovering but at least he will be home! The dr. will give him the final word on Tuesday morning. THANKS to everyone for the prayers and get well wishes and he has enjoyed hearing ole b11d's comments!
